With our luck, we will win 4-6 games and Houston will improve and we will screw up our draft. Then Kyler will get hurt again. We are the Cardinals.
This VERY much sounds like the Cards.

“The Hop trade”…PACards, your future plans are better than Monti’s. MB should have hired you.
I never ever saw Hop being a part of this team in 2023, as he’s very much an “I” guy. I wish we were able to get something for him, but this is Keim’s fault, not MO’s. No team was ever going to pay that ransom and give up any kind of draft capital. Just wasn’t going to happen. And the Cardinals were not going to drag any money into 2024. And does anyone really think that an extra 3rd or 4th round pick would matter much?

Bottom line? They’re willing to be very bad in 2023, in the hopes of getting very good draft position in 2024, when they finally try to turn it around — again.

But, hey, at least they have new uniforms this year.
I don't think it really matters. They have no plans to spend any cap this year so saving money this year just rolls over anyway. So it's the same either way.
