Wow! What a game. 5-4 NY wins, pretty exciting stuff.

The Red Bulls have to be the most entertaining MLS team to watch.

I hope Altidore continues to develop, he's still only 17 yrs old yet he plays like a veteran.

Beckham went the full 90 and had 2 early assists but LA couldn't stop the Red Bulls attack.

I missed the game and MLSNET is slow with the highlights. From what I've read, it was a great game for MLS. Altidore will be the greatest striker in US history. The only question is will Adu and Altidore play in World Cup 2010 or 2014. I'm hoping 2010.

Is it scary that I kinda wish I saw this instead of going to the Cards vs. Texans stinkfest?

I missed this game, but it sure looked like a good night for those fans that were there, a record crowd no less.

I'm not really an MLS fan, but I had a hard time pulling myself away from this game to attend to other obligations. I finally had to leave at about the 80 minute mark when it was 4-4.

The crowd was totally into the game, and Beckham and Altidore shined. The only bad thing about the game was that it happened on that horrible pitch surface.

LA's playoff chances get even more dim. I wonder if the outcome would've been different if Xavier played.

I'll admit it I'm slowly beginning to be a Red Bulls fan, I've always been a fan of Clint Mathis(attitude and all) and who can't like watching Altidore and Juan Pablo Angel. I can't say the lack of durability of Reyna is a surprise though, I learned my lesson with him on the Nats.

The Red Bulls IMO play the most entertaining style in the MLS. I've watched them a couple of times...about the only team I haven't seen play this season is KC.

They are owned by the Red Bull company (yes the energy drink)...they also own Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. The uniforms of the 2 teams are pretty much identical.
