Red Sox send Kim to the Minors

The Boston Red Sox have sent B.K. Kim down to Pawtucket (AAA).

General Manager Theo Epstein took the blame, saying that Kim should not have been used as a starter.

Well, he wanted to be a starter and I guess he is learning that sometimes it is better not to get your wishes granted.

Kim was never a bad closer for us. Maybe we should trade Mantei and get Kim back with a few prospects thrown in or cap relief. We should just not use him during the playyoffs. That is where he blew everything, but during the regular season he had lots of saves.

They should trade Mantei rather than Johnson. Get what they can. Johnson needs to finish out a D-Back.
