Plot Summary: Based on the cult D.C. Comics graphic novel by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner, "Red" is an explosive action-comedy starring Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren.

Frank (Bruce Willis), Joe (Morgan Freeman), Marvin (John Malkovich) and Victoria (Helen Mirren) used to be the CIA's top agents – but the secrets they know just made them the Agency's top targets. Now framed for assassination, they must use all of their collective cunning, experience and teamwork to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers and stay alive. To stop the operation, the team embarks on an impossible, cross-country mission to break into the top-secret CIA headquarters, where they will uncover one of the biggest conspiracies and cover-ups in government history.

What a fun little movie, part action, part comedy. The best part is all the great actors and the chemistry between them. John Malkvich is his classic crazy self. Bruce Willis' part was made for him. I couldn't imagine anyone else playing that part. Helen Mirren going from Stilettos to Combat Boots was just perfect. Not to mention watching her firing a .50 caliber. I could go on and on with all of the great actors in this film.

If you want a fun popcorn flick with some good laughs, this one won't disappoint.

OK, finally saw it, and enjoyed it enormously. Heck --worth going just to see Helen Mirren with an Uzi. Her performance made the movie, in fact.

As entertaining as it was, I agree it was a bit boring at times. Perhaps it seemed that way because so many scenes were funny.
