I'm not sure what his situation was this past year but he's 14th on the career sack list and he only had 3.5 sacks all of last year. 13 games played, 8 starts. 3.5 sacks as a season total worries me since he's had 3 sacks in a single game about 7 times in his career. I'm not sure he has much left in the tank.

He will be looking for to much money. I wouldn't be surprised if he retired and did broadcasting or went to Hollywood to act.

He had some injuries this year, first time in his career he has had some of them. One was a situation where he had pressure building in his leg, and if they didn't operate immediately at the hospital in the middle of the night he was probably going to lose his leg. "compartment syndrome" I think it is called.

The guy knows he stunk this year, and he admitted as much during the season while doing an interview for a local radio show here in DC. Pretty amazing interview actually. Here's a link, and there's some segments where they analyze the interview afterwards.

I thought he played hurt most of the year?

Id give him a shot, i dont think he would mind being a 3-4 LB if it meant giving him a chance to win, hes a very tough competitor.

I wouldn't be opposed to giving him a shot but it depends on what his price tag was. There sure seems to be a lot of pass rushers on the market right now.

when I think of Taylor now, all I can think of is when the Cards played the Dolphins when they had him and I looked at Taylor and through out the game he looked like a egotistical JACKASS and now he is older with not much left in the tank...and wants a ton of money...no thank you

Jason Taylor - no thanks ... his heart & mind are not in football anymore.

He won't show to offseason practice - he said

He's interested in being an actor

I don't want players who live on their past reputation. I want guys who are good and still hungry to get better.
