The Redskins have signed punter Dirk Johnson, according a league source. Washington will be the fifth team for Johnson, who has been in the league seven years and punted for the Cardinals in 2008.

Remember when everyone kept pushing to draft Durant Brooks a year ago?

Well the Redskins did, and now they're looking to replace him with Dirk : /

I think he is no more than camp competition. They still have Brooks and Frost floating around. Frost was damn good and Brooks' problem was he was a puss. He saw those big NFLers coming at him and paniced. Not sure if you can still grow a set at his age.

Graham was just fine IMO. Hell, he was downright great in a few games.

Graham punted most of the playoffs with a bum groin and still was a better directional and distance punter than Dirk.

I'm glad he's on board for two more seasons
