We get home cooking too. Just have to play thru it, which we did. Good win, **** up, go home and get ready for SF. Good job boys.

yup. that being said, as someone who didn't blame the officials for the Philly loss, there were some REALLY REALLY AWFUL calls today that had me completely scratching my head.

Rashad Johnson was flagged for playing football. Johnson, the Cardinals’ free safety, put a good, hard, clean, physical football hit on Titans receiver Kenny Britt on Sunday. Johnson put his shoulder into Britt’s chest, exactly the way NFL defensive backs are told to hit receivers. Inexplicably, Johnson was flagged for unnecessary roughness. The NFL simply can’t allow this to happen. It needs to find officials who can tell the difference between a helmet-to-helmet hit and a shoulder-to-chest hit, because it’s not fair to players like Johnson to have great plays taken away by bad flags.

Officiating has been poor across the entire league this year, easily the worst I have ever seen.

The worst one, besides the Rashad Johnson one, was the flag they picked up in the end zone for illegal contact. Play was over a good three seconds and the Titans player is calling for a flag. Then one magically appears. If players can just ask for flags to be thrown, and the refs listen to them, the game is in trouble. Luckily it was picked up, but I think it was only because the ref knew that the ticky-tack BS had gone on long enough.

I thought the late hit on Powers when he ran back the int that wasn't was a terrible no call as well.

That was so obvious I just do not get it. What kind of penalty would have been assessed? That was almost worthy of a fine.

Considering watching the games I had to endure today(Philly/Minny, Dallas/GB, NYJ/Carolina) and seeing players get into the faces of opposing players after a good play and no flag I would consider that an egregiously ticky tack call. My guess it's in retaliation to Washington's outburst in Philly. They're paying attention to him.

Question, how was the hit on Cason in overtime not called?

Fair enough, I spoke out of anger and emotion after the game. I usually do not like to complain, but I wouldn't mind a blown call benefitting us once in a while:D

Really?

Did you watch the game?

You don't think that was one-sided, even in the least ?

I had Titan fans comment on how ridiculous the penalty on Rashad Johnson was. Also a roughing the passer call they replayed had people shaking their heads and laughing.

Don't know if we are being picked on but the officiating is poor.

5. Placing two hands and holding any WR with the last name Fitzgerald is legal.
Is it just me or have you ever seen another star WR not get calls like Fitz?

After seeing the Fitz hit again, I don't think it was malicious. It looked to me Fitz jumping for the ball as was the defender. They just knocked heads. Be that as it may, it's still a penalty as per the rules. I also think Fitzpatrick should be fine for his spear of Cason that wasn't called.

What about the PF on Calais Campbell on a hit on Fitzpatrick? Calais said after the game the ref ask Fitz if he was hit in the head? Then the ref threw the penalty flag after he said yes! :bang: Talk about wow

I still say there are to many rules & the refs throw flags on what they think happened on a particular play instead of actually seeing the foul committed.

The Ravens are getting all the calls in this game. The Lions secondary can't even touch the Raven receivers without a flag thrown, while the aravens secondary can do whatever they want.
