somebody was gonna scream go get him...just figured I would be first.

we could do worse than reggie...he built a solid roster... they imploded due to poor coaching and bad leadership.

of course,

we could do better than Reggie too

Reggie got short end of the stick once Gruden moved in. I like Reggie but like Keim a little better.

Still not leaving the Keim train. If Jason Licht can comeback to Cardinals (once Tampa fires him this January) it will help Keim and Cardinals.

Oh yeah...Veldheer trade was great for Keim as well.

Trades - Keim > McKenzie
Drafting - McKenzie > Keim

McKenzie drafted Mack, Cooper, and Carr

Carr I can give him credit for, Mack and cooper were no brainer 4th and 5th picks in the entire draft. Keim only picked close to that once at 7th and took cooper who was supposed to be a once in a lifetime guard. I liked the pick fine at the time, he just fell apart in training camp and that was that.

We would need to compare full drafts, not just 1st picks as the raiders have been picking WAY before us.

He was basically fired once they gave Gruden a 10 year contract.

That is correct. If you click here, you can read an article, from a couple of months ago, that outlines the problems inside the organization after they hired Gruden.

I mean, I would hope McKenzie is a better drafter due to drafting in the top 5 a couple times. That itself may not even be true. Look how atrocious his drafts were after the 1st round.

He dont trade well but he drafts well
This itself isn’t even really true. He had two no brainer picks in Mack & Cooper. Carr is......blah. Gareon Conley might be a stud now that he’s a healthy. Karl Joseph is....whatever.

Yuck. Seems so many want a guy who was just fired or cut. Those things happen for a reason.

BTW, he could be responsible for those bad HC hires you mentioned.

In Reggie's favor is that once Gruden decided to dump Mack, he did get max return for Mack. More than other Mack pursuers offered.

I wonder if it was his idea to not keep Cooper and Mack rather than Gruden’s...

Veldheer was signed as a FA and it was a pretty good signing @ 5yrs $35 million. We got above average LT for $7 million a year for 2 full seasons and half a year in 2016 until the injuries and position change woes started.

Don't MacKenzie and McCarthy have history? If it's good, then I think some team should hire them as a package deal. Synergy is very valuable. Would Rosen thrive in a WCO setup? I think so. Cardinals already have good RB's so at least that wouldn't be an issue like it seemed to be in Green Bay.
