I just started watching this one. I'm about half way thru and wow, this is a great movie so far. Adam Sandler is putting on a hell of a performance. So is Cheadle, as usual.

I really want to see this.

Do it Linder! I can almost guarantee you'll like it.

This was a great movie. Sandler and Cheadle just sucked me into the story and the supporting cast was pretty good too. Ryan from The Office had a funny little part. The amount of humor was perfect, just enough to lighten the mood at times.

I had forgotten what a great song "Love, Reign O'er Me" by The Who is.

Mike Binder wrote the lead role with Tom Cruise in mind, who turned it down.

Brad Pitt was considered for the role of Charlie Fineman.

At first Adam Sandler declined his part because he was terrified of it, although he thought the character was incredible after he read the script. A month later, he reread the script and decided that he wanted to do it.

I'm glad he did it, I don't think it would have been the same with a different actor playing Charlie.

I'm sure I will. I just don't like watching movies alone :(

Why?

I love watching movies no matter whos around. In fact they can be WAYYY more enjoyable on your own.

Me 2. No one interrupting you in a movie that you are watching by yourself. Definitely depends on the movie.

Yup. I like watching movies with my wife. But I hate it when she interupts to make little comments about stuff. I end up missing whole lines that are important to the movie.

I absolutely hated watching movies with my wife that she had already seen, but I haven't. Nothing worse than them trying to explain the plot, or the "here comes the best part" line.

Once again why? Why do you need someone with you to enjoy a movie "more" ??????
I guess I don't mind if it's by choice. I have no choice. It makes me lonely. Generally, I enjoy doing things that I consider fun with someone. I'm not cut out to be single. Some are, & that's fine. I prefer companionship.

Would you like me to get you a bigger salt shaker & some lemon juice?
