Okay. So, did you see this movie, Linder? You have no excuse now.

I watched it last night. Alone. Wow. Sandler is fabulous. Great performance. Cheadle is awesome, but I find he usually is. He is one of my favorite actors right now.

I really appreciated how the film didn't focus too much on 9/11. The parts that did address it still made me cry, but I think those parts would have made me cry if they had been about a car accident or cancer or something. I think the writers did a really good job about not focusing on that, and I, personally, appreciated it.

I can tell you I won't listen to that song the same way ever again.

Not sure how I felt about the movie.

I liked it, but something intangible was missing, which kept me from really being floored by it. Great cast.

Continually impressed by the way Sandler goes between movies as a goofy guy with random silly attribute or a very serious role. It's pretty unique to be able to do that, avoiding typecasting alone.

I just re-watched it. I've been wanting to re-watch this for a while and I wanted to kickoff the holiday movie watching season with a movie filmed in winter in NY (still too early for christmas films).

The scene when Sandler tells his story really gets me. Wow.

Thanks to this thread i looked for reign over me on netflix to find out if it was available instantly, Sadly it isn't. Then I looked for reign of fire (the superior movie with "reign" in the title) and that is not streaming either.

Why can't they stream reign of fire?!?!?!?
