Actually, the year that Omar Daal pitched with Randy, he did very well.

I used to say that Randy is the best pitcher in the league . . . but Omar is the best pitcher on the team.

That reminds me of a cartoon many decades ago from Mad magazine, showing 4 pizzarias on the same block.

The sign over Luigi's said BEST PIZZA IN THE CITY . . .

The sign over Pascuali's said BEST PIZZA IN THE STATE . . .

The sign over Mario's said BEST PIZZA IN THE COUNTRY . . .

And the sign over Phil's said BEST PIZZA ON THE BLOCK. :)

Daal was pretty good the latter half of 1998 and throughout 1999. Won 16 games, I believe.

Sodowski sucked.

Telemaco is still an effective -- albeit injured -- reliever for the Phillies.

Fabregas -- sucked.

Andy Fox won a world series last year -- the second ring of his career,

Andy Stanckiewicz and Brent Brede sucked.

How about these guys: Scott Brow, Yamil Benitez, Bobby Chouinard, Willie Blair, Joel Adamson, Alex Cabrera and Bob Wolcott?

Omar Daal went 16-9 in 1999 and was considered one of the most consistent pitchers in the game that season. He followed that by going 2-10 in the first of the season, which prompted his trade to Philly for Curt Schilling. Daal finished the season 2-9 for a 4-19 season.

Daal's problems are all upstairs. He's always capable of a good season when he's got his head together. He went 13-7 in 2001.

I just finished the book about the birth of the Diamondbacks and there were a lot of names from the past in there. I still can't believe Karim Garcia was Dback. I hate that guy.

Who is Karim Garcia?

Wasn't he a former Yankee who punched that field attendant in Boston during the playoffs last year?

I think he's with the Orioles now?

If I'm not right, I'm sorry!

Dellucci pinch-ran for Grace, and Cummings came in to run for Damien Miller.

Isn't he like 30 now? He's no prospect. Is he with the Twins?

He isnt a prospect, he's a veteran minor leaguer playing in AAA, and was in this years AAA All-Star Game (not to be confused with the Futures Game)
