Glad it is working out for you. I hate IE. The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck is the day they start selling vacuum cleaners. (I stole that quote from somewhere, but I can't source it)

I would also highly recommend installing avast antivirus. It is free and recommended by Kim Komando. It both prevents malicious downloads and can scan your hard drive for viruses and trojans. The scan can take a couple of hours depending on your hard drive size, so do that overnight.

That's what I use. I also use Microsoft Security Essentials and I've been quite content with it. I game with a few MS employees and it's always fun to give them crap about some MS product sucking. One of their best products is Bing, but only if you're looking for porn.

Yea... incredibly, I thought I would open up IE just to see of that FLV Player crap would still pop up - and sure enough it's still there...
The only way I can avoid it is to use Firefox. Amazing...
