It's safe to say Renee Zellweger's looking a little different these days.

The 45-year-old actress made an appearance at ELLE's 21st Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration in Beverly Hills, Calif. Monday night, and her nearly unrecognizable appearance is shocking to say the least.

Around the Jerry Maguire time, I found her quite sexy. Now, in that photo, I simply can't find her. I don't think that middle aged woman looks horrible by any means and I certainly don't see a "man in drag" but I don't see Renee either. I think she was abducted by aliens and the little green men accidentally switched brains and then sent us back the wrong Renee.

She wasn't beautiful but like I said, I found her quite sexy 15 years ago. She had a smile that lit up her eyes but I don't see that anymore.

Around the Jerry Maguire time, I found her quite sexy. Now, in that photo, I simply can't find her. She looked fantastic as Bridgette Jones. When she lost about 30 pounds, she looked effing awful. This new plastic surgery has only made her a different brand of ugly.

It doesn't appear to me she is wearing a ton of makeup like she used to. I was trying to look closely at her facial features and I don't see any radical plastic surgery or anything plus she is older.

Maybe that is what she means by relaxed?!?

That's just it. I don't see any radical surgery like in the Bruce example above. Her cheek bones appear in the same place. Her laugh lines...same place. I see more wrinkles around the laugh lines and her eyes and forehead. I see little to no makeup. Maybe work done around her mouth and eyes? However, you don't see her signature eyeliner so maybe that is nothing as well. If she has plastic surgery why not do away with all the wrinkles?

Something is definitely different but I am not sure what it is. Look at her old pictures (pale white). She is obviously wearing a ton of make up in the older photos. Her complexion now has a more natural tone. Maybe spending to much time in the Sun?!?!?

Stunning. I never thought she was gorgeous but she was cute especially in the Empire Records days.

I know we all get old and that sucks, but man I cant even see her in those pictures. Even in that Bruce Jennar photo you can still tell it's him. That doesn't even look like her at all.

From her interview it sounds like she's happy though so thats all that matters.

I remember reading she was taking a break from acting. Maybe she just truly let herself go a bit. Although check this out. It appears her looks started to change way back in 2010. That picture below looks like it's between her old self and the new version. I still say age has much to do with it IMO.

One major difference is her eyebrows. She no longer has an artificially high arch. Looks like they're back where nature intended them to be.
