I received my renewal docs yesterday. I read they are putting seats in the south end zone and we were thinking of switching since it would be close to where the Cards run out onto the field. We were in the south end zone in SDS too.

You all think it will be filled with opposing teams' fans and we should just stay put or what?

It will be filled with season ticket holders -- both from last year and people on the waiting list.

The Cardinals told me there are 5,500 people on the waiting list (who have put down $200 per seat). They expect turnover (due to the 5-11 record and history at SDS) and that all 5,500 will likely get tickets this year. The stadium will be largely sold out again with some individual tickets for sale again this year.

What I can't tell you is who those tickets holders will be cheering for.

Im curious so I have to ask.. How does Skkorp propose getting his urn (God willing not any time soon) past security? They wont let in anything metal now as it is..

Just a question..

The "Top Notch" stadium security force will never notice.

I've been saying that for 13 years and when they send me the renewal notice I pay like it's the IRS or something. The Cardinals had me at hello.

Yeah, who knows I am mostly all talk. I paid my tickets for this year in full within 15 minutes of receiving the renewal notice in the mail.

I received it on tuesday I believe.

You can pay it online, no problem!

I hope K of C's family keeps the tickets he purchased...RIP K of C...we will be looking forward to your help this season! :newcards:

Damn it. I am going to miss him in the stands, keeping me pumped up and headbutting me yelling about how this is our m'f'ing endzone and how we own it. I love his posts in this thread that he was pissed about renewing, and then renewed within 15 minutes of getting the letter. :D What a great fan.

Back to topic...

I paid for half of my tickets already, so abomb will have to pay his half in a month or so. I'm thinking about moving down closer to the rails if I can...I'm in the 5th row in 117, but I hear from friends that the rail view is outstanding.

My situation is a little complicated (have to transfer into my name) but I was able to do it over the phone, fortunately. They were very helpful. :)

I hope no one misses the deadline!

Yup. I always told my family I want to live long enough to see a Cards home playoff game in person. And I've had season tickets since 1992.

I just redid my will last week and if I die before that home game, my heirs will continue buying one end zone seat until we have that home game, at which point my brother will take my urn and place it in my seat for the game.

Truth. :)

That is so hardcore I might weep.

that's hardcore indeed - although you know security would be a prick about it

i put down my 1/3 today - was funny listening to the rep try to get me pumped up about the season though

not sure what my 3rd game will be - but right now i'm looking at the seahawks & browns for my cut

 Wow, I didn't know KoC but seeing his post from so recently, really makes it sad. RIP KoC.

Just paid mine.

Although, I couldn't get through all morning as "the system was down" according to the recording. And I couldn't get through on the internet either. Talk about panic city.

Whew!

Really having a tough time putting a 3rd down right now when it feels like I've been lied to. The Cardinals have their stadium, received a huge naming rights deal and sold the stadium out last season. Yet, here we are, not wanting to sign anyone flashy and trying to get the best deal for our money. This is not being "competitive" like we were promised...this is the SOC, now with more money in their pockets.....
