Renewed expectations

With so many threads and so many posts I just wanted to get a quick read on everyone's expectations now with the series tied 1-1 and JJ's injury.

The Suns have already exceeded all of my expectations for the season.

I want to believe that JJ will be back for game 5 or 6 but something tells me that he might not be back for a coupple weeks.

I hear you Chaplin! I have been wary that we could win it all from the start. The injury to JJ has just sucked all the excitement I was feeling about the team. If we lost full up to Dallas, then it would be a we didn't deserve to win thing. Now it's like, a vital piece is missing to our team, so we won't even hit all cylinders from here on out. It will be like watching a summer league Suns team, almost. I have no doubt that with JJ, we win last game. Also we take the series. Now, I don't know. I put we will lose as my choice.

We gotta BELIEVE we can beat any team before we play every night.

We are the #1 team in the regular season and our scoring has not been slowed down at all. In fact, almost every stats increases so far!

Remember we had a pretty bad game against the Griz in Game 2?


Now the real battle begins. Mavs gave us a great game shooting 49%. They won't have that again!!!

We can beat dallas without JJ but not San Antonio. So for us to win the west we will need Joe.

i've been really depressed today too. just a funk on my whole day. woke up that way despite having a dream that i got with lucy liu. that's a tremendous funk.

man are a lot of you sugar coating the jj thing. it's not just gonna be a couple of games. it's prolly the series, and maybe all of the playoffs if we get by dallas (which we won't w/o jj). and in the miraculous case he did come back, does anyone here really think he'll be effective? hell, we just saw q come back from a much less severe injury and he wasn't the same for two weeks.

GAME 2 vs the Grizz could have easily been a loss, and we would've been in a similar state of mind. Obviously not completely, as now JJ is not going to be on the floor... but still, we came out and destroyed them in Memphis... with JJ.

Even without Joe Smooth, there's an MVP still out there, a monster of a PF and the best can-do-all man in the league. As much as i don't know, im growing in confidence.

In the beginning i was worrying more about Home court disadavantage, and was feeling very comfortable about facing teams on the road (bar SA).
Now thats how its going to be, it's time to show DALLAS why we're the ROAD WARRIORS.

Amare said we'll get a win in Dallas for Joe and i'm gonna go with him on this.
We just play so well on the road, so i can't see us losing twice in Dallas. Fingers crossed.

I don't know man, losing JJ hurts, but I want to see a full game without JJ to form an opinion. Suns looked pretty damn good in the 2nd half even without JJ. So, let's watch the game tonight and see what happens.

I think that if everybody steps up a little bit, Phoenix can beat Dallas and San Antonio. If they don't step up, they might beat Dallas but they will get demolished by the Spurs.
