Lucas Patrick is a busy man. The New Orleans Saints signed him on a discount last year and the veteran offensive lineman ended up starting most of the season at left guard -- and it doesn't look like they'll get him on the cheap again. Patrick is visiting the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday, March 21, after previously sitting down with the Seattle Seahawks, per FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz.

Patrick, who turns 32 this summer, started eight games at left guard and two others at center for the Saints last season. Before that he spent two years with the Chicago Bears, playing all three interior line positions, which followed a five-year run with the Green Bay Packers. The Saints, Seahawks, and Bengals could all use improvement at the guard spots and there's little shortage for Patrick's services.

So we'll see where he lands. A return to New Orleans shouldn't be ruled out, but it doesn't feel very likely, either. The Saints have the resources to compete if a real bidding war takes off, but it's worth considering whether it's worth chasing a rising price for a guard on the wrong side of 30. It's a credit to Patrick's play last year that so many teams are interested in signing him but he may have played his way out of the Saints' budget.
