D'Antoni doesn't believe in going deep into the bench, partially because our starting 5 is so strong. That said, just because he doesn't use it doesn't mean it's not there

But if a bench is not used HOW do you know its there ?


Lets see, Barboso, Diaw, Banks.....two guards and a softy....
Thats pretty much it....and now we've added rookies pg/sg and sg/sf, and retained a 'soon to surprise back up practicemadman' pf/c to go with our other 'superb locker room sharpshooter' guy.....and we are currently wooing one of the elders left in the league, with hopes of adding quality minutes to our 'there but not really there' bench.

And Cheese - why would you think what Amare said is stupid? You are a Cardinal fan like myself and have been on the other end of that one waaaay to many times to be overly sensitive when Amare says it. Besides he was just saying "of course I am excited - I play for a perennial winner not on a team that has never won more than 33 games." Its sad but true. Face the facts Bobcats. You suck. I have been facing those facts for the last 15 years with my football team. You know how you stop those kind of comments? By winning. Its pretty simple.

This whole Charlotte "disrespect" thing and they have a better bench is so non sequiter its not even funny. You can jock Matt Carroll and Morrison all you want. Really its like repping a teams medical staff as being better. The reality is with that "ALL STAR" bench they won 33 games. The reality is they have a ten "5's" and "6's" and no stars. Unlike our star driven team the whole operation 1 -12 is mediocre. So yeah - its a no brainer that thier 8th 9th and 10th men are better. And when that kind of nonsense wins you a championship, I'll start worrying about it.

Not to mention Charlottes team is a bunch of "name" guys. Meaning guys who did stuff in college so their actual value in the NBA is overinflated.

Don't feed into this joker guys. He has now started two completly ridiculous threads on this subject and is obviously an Amare hater. Send him the link to the Bobcats site so he goes away and can start scintillating threads over there like "Primoz Breczec - MVP?" and "Ray Felton is Steve Nash 2.0".

He is that obnoxious kid in class we all remember all to well. He just wants attention. Don't feed the beast......

Ever think about the possiblity their bench scores is becuase their starters suck compared to ours? Of course not! Numbers mean crap! Our starters probally outscore every other team in the leagues starters, does that mean they all suck, of course not. Sunsman44 does nothing but bitch and moan about anything and everything since he came here, kinda funny to even be on a SUNS fans messageboard. Whatever make all the dumb one sided arguments you want and back them up with stats that mean nothing!

I just don't see the need to call out an entire organization like that. Why not just leave it at "Are you kidding? I play for the Phoenix Suns." Simple, done, finished, classy.
