Report: Gene Stallings suffers 'a serious heart attack'

Coach had a serious heart attack last Friday night and has since been transferred from a Paris, Texas Hospital to a Dallas-area hospital.
Doctors are optimistic today as they hope to wean the coach from his ventilator. Coach has been hanging tough through

I was just thinking about him being one of my favorite Cardinals HC. Too bad Dollar Bill didnt support him and Larry Wilson with the money it took to put a winning team on the field. Gene went on after the Cards to have a very successful HC career in Alabama proving he was a very good HC after all.

Definitely one of my favorite Cardinal coaches. Tough SOB. He was one of the Junction Boys playing for Texas A&M under Bear Bryant's first year there.
