Las Vegas will be named one of two hub cities to host the NHL postseason,
according to a report Friday by SportsNet's Chris Johnston. The NHL has not yet made the news official, but commissioner Gary Bettman said on May 26 that it would be about three weeks until the cities are finalized meaning the announcement should come soon.
Las Vegas has long been considered among the front-runners to be a hub city as an obvious location that could host multiple teams quite easily, though it may be harder to enforce the "bubble" that will be required based on whatever health and safety protocols are ultimately agreed on. It will be tough to convince players who have not been able to do much for the last few months to stay in their hotels while being isolated in Sin City.
