The Pittsburgh Steelers may be eyeing their signal-caller of the future in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Per insider Tom Pelissero, HC Mike Tomlin, GM Omar Khan, and QBs coach Tom Arth were spotted having dinner with that lightning-fast draft prospect out of Alabama, QB Jalen Milroe.
The dinner set the precedent for the Steelers' attendance at Milroe's pro day the very next day—where he turned heads with an incredibly fast 4.37-second 40-yard dash.
While the athletic QB is obviously a project, as he threw for a below-average TD-INT ratio of 16-11 in 2024, it is clear the Steelers need an athletic QB to keep up in today's league.
What the Pittsburgh Steelers lost when Justin Fields signed with the Jets could be replaced by drafting Milroe in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft—and the Crimson Tide QB could be the Jalen Hurts of this year's draft class if he drops further than expected, falling right into Pittsburgh’s lap.
