The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting standout Ole Miss QB prospect Jaxson Dart as one of their official top-30 pre-draft visits in April, per Steelers beat writer Mike DeFabo.
In Dart's three years as a starter for the Ole Miss Rebels, the young QB threw for 10,617 passing yards, 72 touchdowns, and 22 interceptions. On the ground, Dart ran for 1,498 yards and 12 touchdowns on 371 rushing attempts.
His stellar 2024 season saw the Ole Miss QB rank first among all SEC-eligible quarterbacks in passing yards (4,279), completion percentage (69.3%), passing yards per attempt (10.8), passing efficiency rating (180.7), passing yards per completion (15.5), and passing yards per game (329.2).
Dart has recently been linked to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 21st overall pick in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, with several analysts and fans debating whether the Steel City should pull the trigger on the QB prospect—just three short years after the failed Kenny Pickett experiment began at the 2022 NFL Draft.
