My nephew Andrew (12 years old) lives in Charlotte and is proudly and loudly representing our Cards! He was on the local morning news earlier today and they even had him tasting NC bbq vs. AZ bbq. His answer: "NC bbq sucks!" :D He also said that the Panthers are going to be smashed by the Cards. He had a great time and was happy to show his support in enemy territory! Here's a pic from the bbq tasting portion of the show:

Yeah, Charlotte does have quite a few transplants, much like here in the Valley. I think college sports trumps the NFL/NBA there for the most part.

We moved here last year, you'd be surprised at how strong Panther fandom is here. Still, a ot of transplants and even haters among locals.

My son wore his Cardinals jacket to School on Panther pride day (yesterday).

The kid was wrong about one thing though, NC BBQ trumps AZ hands down. Hard to find good Mexican here though.

I'm in Charleston, S.C.

Panthers are NOT a HUGE deal here. I haven't seen many panther shirts/jerseys around town the past few days. Like NC, it's kinduv' a transplant state. I'm REALLY pleased how the Valley has embraced the Cards. ie' airport send-off, etc. Trivia note: The "panther" on their helmet is designed to represent BOTH NC & SC. Look at the "shapes" of the (2) states and see how they "fit". GO CARDS! :D
