Last year, in a similar scenario, Tom Coughlin had a very tough decision about how to approach their last game, December 29, versus the then undefeated New England Patriots. Whether the Giants won or lost that game had virtually no significance, as the Giants were already a lock for the #5 seed in the playoffs.

As it turned out Coughlin played the game to win and went with his starters the whole game...and what a game it was. The Giants lost 38-35, but the game galvanized their team and gave them the confidence that they could play with anyone.
Thus, if the Cardinals go into the rest the players for the playoffs mold, they are making a huge mistake.

Exactely - they haven't proven anything - by a long stretch! They need to come out and PLAY!!

The Giants had the extra incentive of wanting to ruin NEs unbeaten season. You can't just win on pride alone. The other team's players have pride too. They cancel each other out. You must have something to play for even if it is as small a thing as playing spoiler when you're 3-12.

Maybe the Car*s will be like us when we were kids and get excited about playing football in the snow and come out relaxed, have a lot of fun, and steal one.

Nah, NE is too professional.

Still would have rested Warner and some of the others : )

If they would have trounced Leinhart, it wouldn't have looked as bad.
