I am once again doing another sites annual mock draft as the Cards GM. Thought I would share how the mock is going by updating each round. All the player GMs represent their favorite teams and are quite knowledgeable and do a lot of prepping. So, generally there isn't more than 1 player each round who falls any significant amount.

So far this has been a quite different Mock from those simulation sites where the computer plays GM for all the other teams. Here are the ongoing results that I will update daily from now on.

Cardinals AZ Cards 2015 Mock Draft, w/ trade of R4.24 & R6.22 to Colts for R4.12.

R1.24 - ILB: Eric Kendricks, UCLA
R2-23 - TE: Clive Walford, Miami
R3.22 - OLB: Hau'Oli Kikaha, Washington
R4.12 (via Colts) - CB: Senquez Golson, Miss
R5.23 – OG: Jarvis Harrison, Texas A&M
R7.24 –
R7.39 -

I will defend (explain) my picks and how draft went down following any thoughts or comments you might respectfully share. I will just say that this turned out to be a BPA draft for the Cards. Gladly, each BPA turned out to be at a position of need, IMO at least.

I like the picks even though I know some won't.

Kendricks is going to be an impact in the NFL.. Walford is going to be solid all around..and Kikaha is going to be a situation specific rusher.

I just added OG: Jarvis Harrison, T A&M with our 5th round pick. Was excited he fell to there. He is someone who really moved up the boards over the last 2-3 months. I wonder if he can play C. Haven't read anywhere that that would be a possibility.

I like Kendricks.

taking a TE that early seems kinda out of place but he is a good blocker and played decently enough with a freshman QB.

Why trade a 6th to move up 12 spots in the 4th? I don't know anything about Golson though, is he that valued at that pick?

Kiper at a small clip and conversation about him on espn today. Said he is a solid starter, star to be, and 2nd round pick. I knew that already and when he was the highest rated player on my board and dropped to 4th round, it made sense so jump up a few spot and grab him. Never was going to get a starter, or possibly even someone to make the team, in the 6th round.
