Man...you know it's doom and gloom if you get your asses handed to you by "perennial doormats" and thier "noname defensive line"...how about giving the Cards some credit!?

"Greg Blache's defense held the Cardinals to 134 yards in the first half as all three of Arizona's scoring drives started in Bears' territory."

That's got to be the funniest line I've seen in weeks.

It's funny, all of the Bears writeups have been really excited about Kordel's play....hmmm....most of his yards came at the end of the half, when we were playing prevent defense! :biglaugh:

I was telling a few Bears fans that we're being loud mouthed braggarts, that the Bears are going to be terrible this year. Urlacher might be the single most overrated player in the game, and the rest of the defense doesn't look very good at all.

The last line of the article is the one that is wierd reading.

"Bill Gramatica added a 50-yard field goal, giving the Cardinals 20 points off turnovers."

It's been ingrained in me that the oposing team is the one that scores points off of turnovers.

Go Cards!!!

He actually was. Stewart was offered a contract before blake and stewart was the first QB to come to Arizona. If Kordell said yes the first day he would be our QB right now. Scary isnt it.

Watched ESPN last night. Every highlight was from Chicago's point of view, so to speak. No positive words for the cards, just talk about how bad the bears played. Made me sick. Two of their highlights show Calvin pace killing Kordell, yet no mention of his name. They showed Bryant sacking him, no mention of his name. Just talked about how bad Kordell looked in the pocket.

...oh yeah, they did mention Emmitt scored a TD.

We're gonna surprise 'em this year when we go 5-0 out of the gate :D

Did you guys see that kick? They forgot to put the nets up and the ball went into the stands, specifically to Section 19, Row 1, Seat 1, where yours truly made the play! They let me keep the ball, too. I was shocked. A great night all around! :D

That was awesome. They let a bunch of people keep balls so far this season. Very nice move by the Cardinals.

Sure, we don't have big profile names on D. But who do the Bears have anymore besides Urlacher (who was also getting his butt handed to him all night)?

I'd rather have a no name D that racks up 70 sacks, 25 Ints, 20 fumble recoveries, and gives Offensive Coordinators fits week in and week out. Oh, and about seventeen shutouts would be nice. Not that I am asking for too much.

Way to go guys!!

I agree with you on this one 1616. The difference between blake and stewart seems like the difference between jake plummer and joe montana.

I went to the game with a friend of mine who's a Bears/Cardinals fan from growing up in Chicago. I told him I was sure glad we got Blake instead of Kordell. I don't envy the Bears fans having to put up with Stewart's erratic play.

This somewhat scares me about Graves in that Pace and Blake were both kind of accidents.

Guess it is better to be lucky than good.
