okay, this delay until the wcf is just stupid.

this has been discussed already....

but it is because the finals are already LOCKED to start june 3rd.

If they didnt have this break, then they would have a 2 week break after the west finals until the NBA finals start. then you would be complaining even more.

p.s....i'm impatient as hell too and can't wait for it all to get started.

its not like the superbowl where they have locked in the location in advance.

I do understand wanting to keep the WCF & ECF going on at somewhat the same time

I think its stupid if they already start a new round while the other is finished.. Idk, I kinda like the wait.. Gives you time to savor in the juices lol.. I hate the offseason with no NBA.. so boring

Yep, i start a 4 day weekend today and although both teams have long since wrapped up their semi-finals i get no game ALL WEEKEND.

The danger is it may affect team. You never know, a long rest although good for the body can sometimes be detrimental to the teams performance.

Even after game 2 (Wednesday) the next game isnt til Sunday evening. Which tells me the NBA wants viewership. But if thats the case then why not start the WCF this Sunday instead of Monday........there should be a game every other day

What is also ridiculous is the wait between game 2 and game 3. 4 days between games??? How stupid is that?

But it goes both ways. However I think it favors the Suns in giving Nash time to rest and heal. Also Lopez definitely needed the extra time. Plug in Nash... instant chemistry.

I think it has something to do with them trying to get all of the games on ABC in primetime. Making the TV schedules all work out ok.

Gives time for Lopez to recover and get back into game shape. Seems to favor us as I think Lopez will be critical. I'll take it.
