They also ran a commercial during the game tonight here in LA. It was called "Celebrate with Dignity." It had a bunch of different players from the Lakers informing their fans that you don't have to go light **** on fire to express your enjoyment of a sporting event.

You haven't truly lived until you witness a PSA with a theme of "Please Dont Riot!"

My money is on, if this guy was anywhere close to Staples center, he would be out there participating. I grew up in Southern CA, for over 20 years, seen Kobe and Shaq a bunch, But all the bandwagoners just made me hate this team, Lakers are the NBA Dallas Cowboys. I hate them and I do not respect there fans and all there front runner crap.

Arrests number 18 in aftermath of title

Police also said Monday that police cruisers were damaged, windows on public buses were smashed and fires were set in the street. Seventeen people were arrested Sunday night after police declared the gathering an unlawful assembly, authorities said.
Five officers had minor injuries, Sgt. Andy Mathes said. One of the officers was taken to a hospital and the others were treated at the scene.

They were on tactical alert with the rest of the LAPD. Police Chief Bratton was outside Staples Center during all of this. (I was listening to KNX after the game.) He later said it went "pretty well" compared to other years that the Laker's won the championship.

Disgusting.
