Ironically, Carney won 3 Emmy Awards while Jackie Gleason had none. Carney used to hide his awards when Gleason would come to his house, because he did not want to make him feel bad.

Reminds me of the Andy Griffith Show: Don Knotts was nominated and won something like 5 consecutive Emmy Awards for his work on the show and Andy Griffith had none.

Carney was great and he was in a lot of things. He'll be missed.
