"Rip City" "Clutch City"

Portland and Houston had these nicknames for their cities/teams during their better years. The Laker's (Showtime) also fits into this category.

It might not be time to be pushing such a moniker yet for our town, but it might be time to start thinking about one. It ought to be something to do with speed and power. Any ideas?

as in

"Clutch City" started during the Suns Rockets series. Houston had home court advantage and a 20 point lead in one game and lost. The headline the next day read "Choke City"

When they came back and won the series the headline read "Clutch City" and it has stuck.

"The Solar Express", thought I read that on the AzRepublic website this morning, thought it sounded pretty good.
