Man lived a troubled life from childhood actually chronicles some of it in his video Slippin. I remember his meteoric mainstream breakout in 1998 when I was in high school. His first five albums debuted at #1 on Billboard 200, definitely one of the most accomplished rap artists in the last 20 years.
