During my earliest days of being a Cardinals fan, he was truly the face of the franchise. Tough, tough man, but with a heart of gold. It’s a sad day for Cardinal fans. No doubt Sunday’s game will be dedicated to Larry Wilson. We’ve been blessed to have 2 great Larry’s in our franchise. RIP Mr. Wilson!

An absolute legend. Got an interception with two broken hands!

I only got to watch him in a few games (Cardinals were rarely on TV back then) but he was a beast. Tough football player, great man off the field. RIP.

It's a rare person who deserves the title of "Legend". This man is a Cardinals legend.

RIP Larry. Tough doesn't even begin to describe it.

RIP to a great player and man. I became a die hard Cards fan in 1972 and only saw him play in two games, but even that young, I knew he was a legend.
