Just heard this sad news on the radio. Big O passed away at only 54.

I had heard an interview with him a couple years ago where he said he was encouraged to lose weight and getting healthy because of the death of Sean Brooks.

So it was cancer? Man...I freaking hate cancer.

That's really the only clear memory I have of Big O. I remember in OT we had wrapped up the game and he was fouled at the end -- pretty meaningless, but he missed his first free throw and he was genuinely upset even though it had no baring on the outcome. I remember one of the announcers, I think it was Steve Jones, saying that he liked that Miller was upset that he missed that free throw. I don't know why I remember that one moment so well, but there it is.
