As a Dodger fan in my younger days and a D-backs fan since their inception, I never had a warm spot for the Giants.

But I did for some of their players. Willie Mays, Monte Irvin and Willie McCovey. All class acts.

'Sorry to hear about Willie McCovey's passing. Balls hit into McCovey Cove will have even more sentimental meaning now.
