Wow. Nice play by an ASU DB. U of A rips off 45 yards from Mike Bell after the fumble. gets first and goal, and the ASU DB picks one off on a timing route in the endzone. Nice play.

Coming up on the end of the third, ASU is up 21-7.

Gmae has been entertaining, with both teams moving the ball well, and then the defenses getting tough and keeping the points from going up.

U of A has shot itself in the foot twice by giving the ball away inside the ASU 20.

And they almost just did it again. The U receiver caught it, and took it to the 10, fumbling, but recovered. U of A first and goal, 1 minute left in the third.

HA! UofA kickers are PATHETIC. they are 2-11 on the season, missing their last 7 in a row.

By the way, ASU held at the goal line and The U missed a 23 yard FG. Doinked off the post. Man, you shouldnt even be in DIV 1 with that kind of pathetic kicking game.

First play from scrimmage after the missed FG, GREAT CALL.

35-40 yard pass, finished with a 40 yard run for the TD.

28-7 ASU.

Yeah, but did you actually see it? It was FAR from a cheap shot. The receiver used his hands to help himself up off the turf...

I'm at work with no cable, so I'm listening. According to the announcers, a Sun Devil was attempting to get off the ground and a Wildcat pushed him back down using a hand on his helmet. Maybe it was a different play, or biased announcing...

Believe me, it was biased announcing. I promise. I do call em fair. The ASU player was lying on the ground, not getting up yet, and the U of A player put his hand on the ASU guy's shoulder pad to lift himself up.

To be fair, I could MAYBE see, judging by the ugliness of games past why a ref might overreact and make that call, but it doesnt excuse it. It was a bad call. No matter, it had no effect on the outcome. The U scored on that drive anyway.

Best thing about this win, is its the first game I got a chance to rip to VCD. Now to just edit out the commercials and burn it to CD so I can play it in my DVD player. Go ASU!
