ESPN News said the Yankess have agreed on a new 2 year extension for RJ and that he will not be able to wear #51 because Bernie Williams has the number and will not give it up. Gotta love that team spirit up there in the Bronx :roll:

When talk about RJ being traded begin my first worry was that he wouldn't go into the HOF as a Dback. I thought he would make a great first representative for our team in the hall.
Now that he's a Yankee I don't care if he goes in as a Dback anymore. He'll always have the stinch of Yankee pinstripes on his persona from this day forth.
It doesn't happen anymore but I'd like for the first Dback HOFamer to be a home grown guy. Maybe some time in the future a legit star will come from our farm system and stick around long enough to do it.
WHile on at it I would like to recommend to local sponsers that they drop the RJ adds from local TV. The guy has no charisma, he's butt ugly and now he plays for the Yankers. How many people are gonna run out and buy a waterbed because Randy Mercenary has one?
