or did somehow,....they 80 players who are all better than the best TE in the draft...all manage to get picked before the 55 slot?

Funny, I've been doing this all morning (before even seeing this thread).. I think my favorite was Harold - Gurley - Phillip Dorsett - Ifo Epkre-Olomu first 4 rounds.

LOL. Biblical.....that is funny.

Fair enough, justifiable criticism.

Good pass catcher, good blocker, and good speed. Fits the system.

Yet, he was not the top player I had for a 2nd round grade, and by a long shot, so your claim of the 80 players better than the best TE prospect for the Cardinals were pretty much gone.

I really like the CB's in the 2nd round, but they were all gone, same for the ILBers, Running backs, guards, Nose Tackles, you name it. Thus this was the guy on my big board, so that is who I picked.

It was between him and Alex Carter, who I like his size but he is not a good fit for our defense.

So, yes, I am with you that a TE is a shock here, but I considering who was off the board, he was the best pick, and he was not going to be there in the 3rd round.

NOOOOOOO chance to get Dupree where we sit. Coleman shouldn't fall that far. Might not make it even to our 2nd. What is his injury issue?

He was available in the simulated draft when I picked, so I chose him. Blame fanspeak for the grading, I just jumped on the opportunity.

:D

Aka don't hate the player, hate the game.

One of the top pass rushers will drop past 15 and that's when we need to pounce. That or get Todd Gurley.

I believe in the slogan "To be the man - you have to beat the man "
The last 2 seasons The Man in the NFCW has been the Sea Hags and as I look at who they selected with their #31 pick " A Big Time Weapon . Folks, we need to belly up to the bar and match them , I say if Dorial Green-Beckham slides to 24 , we get us a Big Time Weapon !!!!

Call me Crazy but I love that draft. Speaking of the draft anybody going? I am going to try and go Thursday night and maybe Friday night.

My son and I didn't get tickets to the draft, they did invite us to draft town. That sucks, why move the draft to a smaller venue, it's such a popular deal. It should have been held at Soldier Field. This BS of draft town is just a way to people to the event to spend money. I would have been happy to spend my money but I want to see the show, and not on TV.:hijack:

Id be nauseous if we spent a 2nd rounder on a TE.

Honestly, any pick what so ever on a TE.

Ive said It once, and ill say it one more again, we could have Gronk and Young Tony Gonzalez, would it make a difference?
no
we
don't
utilize
TEs
for
pete
sake
we
may
as
well
draft
9
fullbacks

Does it matter if we draft Ja'quan Mcpancake or Jerry riceballs? No it doesn't

What's McPancake's 40 time, sound like a devastating blocker.

Clive Walford... funny thing his "pro comparison" is..... Dwayne Allen, TE, Colts.

BA was there for that pick... I could see Walford getting picked but I don't think they'd go for him in the 2nd.

This would be ideal!!!!! I would substitute the WR in Round 7 for another CB but other than that this would be an A+++ draft.

Didn't finish it. Pulled his hammy and eggs

Im not even kidding, id be revolted if we keep signing TEs.

Might as well sign a point guard to play goalie on kickoff. That's how much sense TEs on this team makes.

That is a really old mock.

Ellis McCarthy has motivational issue and will be available in the 6th round or later, Crockett, and Nelson are 7th round picks at best.

Ty Montgomery is a 5th round pick or less.
