No real quibbles with list, although I think Junior will soon be replacing Jay as the starting 2Bman.

RF is a little weak, as well.

At least we are not Tampa Bay - Albie Lopez is on their all-time team.

Matt Williams is also SF's Third-baseman.

Steve Finley is San Diego's Center Fielder.

Randy Johnson is Seattle's #1.

Interestingly, Curt doesn't make the Phillies list.

Mark Grace is also Chicago's 1B.

Mark Grace was underrated as a first baseman in Chicago, as a great fielder lacking HR power during an era of great 1B elsewhere in MLB. Ernie Banks made his mark at SS, not 1B.

It's really too bad there isn't a UT position because that's where Craig Counsell belongs. The runs scored column is often overlooked and Jay Bell was key in 1999--all the more so if you believe in the Matt & Jay gave credibility to get RJ, Fins, etc.

Well, I probably wouldn't put him on the list of 4 starting pitchers either as we have 4 hall of famers. I'd rate him higher than Chris Simmons though, He put Steve Carlton, Grover Cleveland Alexander, Robin Roberts, no problem, all HOF's. But Jim Bunning is a HOF, too.

The only other argument for the Dbacks at this time might have been the #4 pitching slot - Andy Benes had more wins, but it is close. I expect Batista or one of the babybacks to take that slot soon.

Are these based on 1 season or cumlative over their years as Dbacks? IF it is on year you would have to have Bell on for his 99 season along with Daal that year.

Reggie Sanders should be at RF, he only played one year but it was a good one. Danny B has yet to show he can do it over a full year
