Robbed of the Experience

So yesterday, with about 2 mins left in the game I had to eject some drunk chick and her jackass boyfriend. The whole process took about 25-30 minutes in real time.

I knew from the crowd noise that the Cards had scored the go-ahead touchdown, and I knew there wasn't much time left (there was more than I thought). By the time I got done with those two, the game was over and most of the crowd had left.

So after the game I bumped into BIM and D-Dogg, kinda got the lowdown on what happened and thought "no biggie, I'll just watch the DVR recording of it when I get home". Well, the damn DVR cut off just as Brown crossed into the endzone.

I get on here and read the gameday thread and I read four entire pages of "OMG my heart is pounding, I can't take this, I lost years of my life, my head is gonna explode"

The few highlights I have found only show Rashad pushing the guy out of the endzone. Nothing on Deone's play before that or Tyrann's before that.

Talk radio is just buzzing about how great that ending was, Bickley saying it was his 5th greatest moment in that stadium, Vince saying his heart was pounding out of his chest.

NFL Replay is showing every game BUT that game.

Anyway, just wanted to whine. Sounds like I missed out on something pretty special and rememberable.

nfl game rewind is reletively inexpensive and the game should already be available to watch even in a 30 min blitz of plays where you can watch the whole game.

I seriously blame the refs. Same thing happened to me when 30 minutes wasn't enough to catch the end of the game on DVR.

Stupid refs.

Brian, you should change the time settings. I have mine running like over an hour after the guide says its going to be over. Never want to take the chance on missing a game if its in overtime.

Yep. Same here. All those b.s. ticky-tack flags (like the one on HB for roughing the passer) and the injuries really added a bunch of time to the game.

The NFL Network Rewind does list the game to be shown in the 30-min format, but it is not until later on Tuesday after a couple of earlier batches. Just keep scrolling forward and it should be there.
