I'm not going to be tasked with pointing out Sarver's good qualities although I'm sure he has some.

Lon Babby and Steve Kerr have given their insight into the situation. They are no longer on the payroll.
you made the claim he's has good qualities. I just wanted to know what you're basing that statement on.

fair enough on the second question.

he's a piece of crap because he's making sexually demeaning comments about his female employees. You think it's okay for a boss saying an group of female employees got plowed by some other dude in the office... or if your boss commented on the size your secretaries "tits"?
Of course not. And he will pay the price if true...just amazed at the shock and awe of what's said by a huge percentage of the population....women included....but yes I agree those statements should not be between a boss and his associates

Talking about some employees secretaries tiny tits is fun and games? Sorry, no. What does a Secretary have to do with this roast? Nothing.

And it doesn’t need to be a silver bullet. It’s just more fuel for a fire that’s already burning based on just the things he’s actually admitted.
Yup.

“As mentioned previously, Jalen is out of the country this week, but he wants us to make clear, that he did not mean to suggest that Sarver actually spoke those words. And to be clear, ESPN has never reported that Sarver used those words to describe DeAndre Ayton.

Jalen used those words to try to express his personal opinion, that the way Sarver handled Ayton’s contract situation was demeaning to a Black player and would be perceived that way by other Black players. Jalen recognizes that it was a mistake and we apologize for the miscommunication.”

ESPN's Steven A Smith apologizes for Jalen's comment:

I don't understand how the Suns not signing Ayton to a max extension is "demeaning to a Black player."

For a week they let that sit and fester. Now they apologizing? Really?

and in today's age of technology and zooms, Jalen couldn't man up and make the apology himself? Look, it's crystal clear that I want Sarver gone and think he should be just based on the known incidents already admitted to/on video alone notwithstanding the comments made by apparently numerous current and former Suns employees, but that is some awful reporting on Jalen's part.

I don't think Ayton has played since those comments by Jalen Rose so I hope it's a coincidence.

Jalen Rose is a fairly bitter, petty individual by how he acts with a lot of his relationships.

Can't say this twist is surprising and only stirs already muddy waters

If one wants to hear more from Baxter Holmes as NBA starts it's investigation.

And now both sides would be arguing on something completely speculative. Only Holmes at this point can really tell us.

But I doubt a media outlet would conjure this story out of thin air. ESPN lives and dies with their relationships with sports leagues and individual teams. They would bury this story if it was based on the opinions of 6 people. I think this is a pretty weak take to suggest it could be that few.
Lol. You need to finely hone your reading comprehension skills. Nowhere do I say it’s 6. I’m saying we have no idea what the number is. But those throwing around the articles “70” are most likely wrong and falling for an old writers ploy.

that is some REALLY weak trash on Rose's part. you can't level that kind of accusation like without having it locked down.
Agreed. He needs to be suspended and is lucky not to lose his job. What’s his excuse?

Now a video surfaces of Sarver speaking like he is accused of doing at work. Drip, drip, drip.....

That’s a weak sauce reply too. And Rose’s reasoning for it fails miserably. Anytime a white owner doesn’t think a black players deserves a contract they are asking fir in negotiations it’s now racist? That’s what rose is claiming he meant. Awful.
What's more is that things like this can take the sting out of some of the actual things that Sarver may have actually done. Or at least now there will be a contingent of people that will think it could be all made up **** now.
