Reports are to Cleveland for the #19 or the Bulls for the #20

Last I heard is that the Rockets and Bulls were deep in trade talks, but would not confirm if it was the Robinson potenital trade. I don't get this trade from the Bulls standpoint unless you are going to move Gibson or amnesty Boozer. And even if that happens, we need a #2 gaurd not another big. Unless the savings from Boozer clears up enough space to bring back Nate or Butler is going to move over there full time.

I should have said as a #1 priority. If would love to roll he dice on Glen Rice Jr. at 20. Thibs, Noah and Deng woudl get his head straight.

They called it the Cinderella season. The Suns were certainly not legitimate Championship contenders, nor were they building up to it.

They were more pretty than well.

Any team that goes six games in the NBA finals is a contender. This is just silly.

I always hated that Phoenix team because I felt it was shady how they beat the Warriors. I know there were reports later that Sobers admitted that MacLeod sent him into the game with instructions to try and get Barry out of the game and that's exactly what he did by starting a fight that got Barry ejected.

But in hindsight probably pretty smart, Barry was a notorious hothead so why not see if you can get him out of the game. I saw Barry on tv a few years ago and he was asked about that and he said the Suns players were laughing about it so he knew fairly quickly that Sobers had instigated it on purpose.

The reason I always hated it is of course that Warrior team broke up after that.

I wish we had a Suns team today that wanted to win that badly. If a player is a hothead, you take him out of the game by agitating him.

The Suns had a gimmick of a rookie 212 lb. Center playing at the top of the key on offense and, once in awhile, driving like a Guard.

By Alvan Adams' second season, the rest of the league caught up with it. But his college (and Suns) coach John MacLeod kept doing it for the next decade, forcing our Power Forward to cover Center.

We were not legitimate Championship contenders vs. the Celtics. We became known as the "finesse" team of the NBA. And it has haunted us ever since.

That Cinderella season for the Suns did them more harm than good in the long run.

You are re-writing history as far as I'm concerned. The rest of the league didn't solve AA, our roster changed and he was no longer surrounded by a very effective Perry and Heard. We were a far different team without those guys (Perry was pretty much done and Heard was on his way down). Alvan averaged the same in rebounds and 1 point fewer per game the next season playing fewer minutes. That doesn't look like "figured out" to me. And if you look at his advanced stats, he had an even stronger second year than he did as a rookie.

Looks like they are working towards get Robinson to put togehter a package to get Lamarcus Aldridge, who has come out and asked to be traded to the Bulls. I heard that package woud be around Robinson, Deng and the Bobcats pick. I would assume that Boozer would be a goner then. Can you imagine Aldridge and Noah playing together? Doing all of this would actually create some cap room for the Bulls to go after a SG like OJ Mayo and bring back Nate Robinson!!!

SG Mayo
SF Butler
PF Aldridge

If they could somehow swing Aldridge while being able to keep Rose, Deng and Noah, I think they'd be the team to beat in the NBA. Even if their big three was just Rose, Aldridge, Noah and for some reason had to trade Deng for salary purposes, they would still be pretty damn tough.

That is one tough team. I'd like to see another tough big man off the bench, an another "3 and D" shooting guard/ small forward, but even without that, I am pretty sure that team would demolish Miami.
