Kevin Durant will stay home at least to start the upcoming road trip and get an MRI.

From Sunday night:"Starts with us. Starts with me. I've got to do better, give more energy, give more effort plays, but everybody 1 through 15 has got to do a better job."Suns rookie Ryan Dunn after 3rd straight loss Sunday, falling 148-109 to Houston Rockets. #Suns #Rockets

From Sunday night:"A couple of days ago, we won 4 games in a row. We've got to find a way to get back to that. This league, you're going to get another game, but, tonight, not good, but we've got to find a way to flip it and be better." Mike Budenholzer after Suns loss to Rockets. #Suns #Rockets

One play summed the Suns season up for me last night. The start of the third quarter, Nick Richards forces a turn over that goes right to Collin Gillespie. Gillespie dribbles through two defenders and is heading to the basket for a lay up. At the rim he gets the ball swatted away and the other team breaks downcourt for a score.

We are too small and too slow.

I don't see us getting any better until we address that issue. The whole Western Conference is going taller and more athletic. Our rookies aren't that tall or athletic, but they stand out on our team because we lack those qualities. Heck, even a poorly shooting Martin is looking decent on our roster by sheer hustle and basketball IQ. He brings more athleticism to the team even though he isn't that tall comparatively to his position.

Hoping Santa Ishbia brings us a new GM this Christmas in May!

I think we all recognized that at one point in the season. I think it isn't something talked about that should be talked about more often just because of how much of this goes on the FO. But maybe we are tired of beating a dead horse.

Guys are long and athletic on other teams, they are not great 1 on 1 players, they run, they rim run, they jump passing lanes, they use their length while not being great pure basketball players.
