First game I got to watch televised since the Dodgers series. Seems like they're taking the Yarnell situation personally and playing with a new sense of pride. They actually looked like they were having fun while feasting on substandard Rockies pitching. Additionally, the bullpen is getting much needed rest while Miley and Skaggs each pitched 8 innings. Hopefully, Corbin can continue that trend tomorrow.

Also, I loved seeing Miley's passion in the dugout. He really got pissed when Gibby pulled him. Kid wanted to finish what he started.

Miley another great outing...hopefully he can return to being the reliable workhorse that he was last year. Prado also has been alot better lately and hopefully he's poised for a good run the rest of the year. So far great start to the homestand

Yea.. We have the least amount of wins of all other first place teams in MLB... But, we are lucky that our division is mainly a .500 division... 85 to 88 wins just might be enough to get us into the playoffs...

In answer to your question, our record would have us in 4th place in the Central and in 2nd place (4 games out) in the East.

To make the post-season, it's Division championship or nothing. No Wild Card for the West.

Very nice win. Another high quality outing from a starter... Incredible that we went so long without a win from a starter and now we've had 3 consecutive very solid starts... We certainly haven't had two many laughers like this.
And maybe we should be keep attacking Ross! 5 for 5 tonight... You SUCK Cody!!!

Great sweep. Total domination. Can't remember he last time this team dominated a team like that over a series... Great momentum heading into the HUGE Dodger series. Just wish Corbin was going to get the chance to face LA....

The games are way too important for those types of antics... However, Kennedy goes on Tuesday. Ian loves to pitch inside, however, he has been extremely wild this year. If he loses control of one and hits a Dodger, I'm pretty sure we'll see an ugly event take place on the field... But I would be surprised if any pitcher from either team decided to bean someone just for the heck of it...
