Anyways, Scoreless first inning for both teams, holy crap Jimenez can throw a good fastball. Shattered Byrne's bat with a 99 mph fastball.

Reynolds strikes out, Montero pops out. If I were the hitting coach, I'd tell the hitters to go out there and take a bunch of pitches and try to tire this guy out. He can't throw near 100 every inning.

by the way did anyone see that no hitter broken up between the royals and the twins. One of the twins hitters got a hit with 1 out in the 9th inning that would suck if you were the pitcher in a way to blow a no hitter that late in the game. Not sure who was pitching for the twins but that still is without a doubt a amazing effort

Baker was pitching for the Twins. Not as bad as Schilling's messed up no-hit effort, but still pretty tough to lose it that late. But he pitched a great game and got his team the win. A shutout is still a great accomplishment.

I had to leave the TV right after the walk to load the bases. I was stunned to turn the game back on and see that Colorado still didn't have any runs.

The worst part is he didn't have to on that one. He actually slowed up because he thought he had it paced. Even so it still hit him on the glove and he should have caught it.
