Another home loss. Afraid to see what KT does next. Can he make this team any worse?

Ugh. So frustrating. We were right there, but we just kept falling behind. Fun game, but a disappointing result. Ballpark was a ghost town. That's what will spur changes, IMHO.

So let's set the table here:

DBacks down 4-3 in the bottom of the 6th, have the bases loaded with nobody out. Rockies bring in a new pitcher that nobody on the D-Backs has ever seen before. Owings swings at the very first pitch. Groundball, out at home. The pitcher's spot is due up. Kinda-sorta like a key point in the game. Send up a veteran hitter? Prado? Ross? Pennington? Nah.......Let's send up Roger Kieschnick, the same Roger Kieschnick who is hitting a WHOPPING .000. All because he is a lefty and the pitcher is a righty. You can guess the result of that AB (yes, he struck out). ******* Campana rolls on up and swings at the very first pitch he sees. Out at first.

Stupid Gibby and stupid players. I'm so sick of this.

Pollock ties it with a homer and then the D'Backs get the next two guys on with two outs and our $10 million hitter Cody Ross strikes out to end the inning. Then Reed comes in to pitch the 9th and quickly gives up a homer to the first guy he faces. :bang:

When will the Towers era end? I hate seeing how bad he has destroyed this team. If we still had the 2011 team, plus the guys Towers traded, this would be a team contending for not only the NL West but the National League.

3 on no outs. Should always get 2 or more runs in that event. Anything less is inexcusable and further augmented by poor managing decisions.

Why is Roger Kiershankiankanich on this team? We already have 4 outfielders on the roster, and one of them is already our token "has no business being on an MLB roster" guy (Campana), not to mention Prado as an option in left should an emergency arise.

Actually, I should take that back. As awful as Campana is he is no Tuffy Gofish. Campana's wretched career .593 OPS is a full 200 points higher than what Tuffy rocks.

They have grit and are not a cancer in the dugout, that is why they are on the team.

Since the average run expectancy in that situation is just over 2 runs, I'd say "inexcusable" is a bit strong. Especially when you're looking at a team that can only aspire to one day be average.

Yup - I am not sure who the bigger problem is right now, Towers or Gibby

I am leaning towards Gibby.

Not with Gibby at the helm.

And no, the Dodgers and Giants would still have more talent.
