It is now officially game day for the Alabama Crimson Tide once again, as the program gets set to take on the BYU Cougars in the Sweet 16 round of the 2025 men's NCAA Tournament.

The No. 6 seed in the East Region, BYU is one of the top offensive teams remaining in the NCAA Tournament, one that could end up giving Alabama some problems. However, will it be enough to upset the Crimson Tide with a spot in the Elite Eight up for grabs?

Here is a look at who every member of our Roll Tide Wire team has winning Thursday night's Sweet 16 showdown between Alabama and BYU.

Matt's Prediction: Alabama Crimson Tide 86, BYU Cougars 80

Alabama has passed their NCAA Tournament tests the last two rounds against Robert Morris and Saint Mary's, but make no mistake, this showdown with No. 6 seeded BYU is likely their toughest yet. A very talented offensive team, this game is likely to be high-scoring, but when comparing the two teams overall, this should still be an Alabama win to advance the Crimson Tide to the Elite Eight for the second consecutive season.

Steve's Prediction: Alabama Crimson Tide 94, BYU Cougars 90

Alabama needs to be at its best against a BYU team that hasn’t advanced this far into the field of 68 since the college basketball nation was obsessed with Jimmer Fredette in the 2011 NCAA Tournament. These are two of the best scoring offenses in all of college basketball, and a cold shooting night will likely spell doom for either team. I could go with either team in this game, but ultimately think Alabama being a bit more battle tested — both from its grueling SEC schedule and this team’s experience this late in the tournament — will make a difference. First team to score 100 wins?

Sam's Prediction: Alabama Crimson Tide 92, BYU Cougars 82

After knocking off 3 seed Wisconsin in the round of 32, BYU will be the toughest test Alabama has faced so far this tournament. The Crimson Tide are playing well, but I still feel like they have another level they can raise to. Ultimately, I think Alabama has too many scorers and is too deep to fall to the Cougars.
