I saw it in training camp, and I'm seeing it tonight -- Rolle is done. The guy has no interest in committing to his job. He is a headcase. Too bad.

Are you talking about the PI? That was just a terrible, terrible call by the refs.

He got thrown at all of twice in the first preseason game - one of which was one of the worst PI calls I've seen in a while and people are already calling for his head?

Wow

Eh?

He was too far back in coverage and missed the tackle on the first pass thrown against him. I won't argue that was all on him.

The second throw was the PI call which was blown badly.

That was all that was thrown against him. The Raiders kept trying to pick on Green.

He didn't actually get burned on any plays. He missed a tackle and on the PI (bad call) he was in position where he was supposed to be. You're making it sound like Oakland WRs were running past him at will.

Wow did I say that? No...I don't think so , so don't put words in my mouth. Wether he slipped or got burned, the reciever got passed him and made him look bad. If you are happy with the then more power to ya but he did not look good tonight

Uh.. but we're playing a worse team with a new coach too.

Actually defensively the Raiders were one of the top defenses in the league last year. Their offense was absolutely abysmal.

Against our starters not much happened by either side. Our 2nd string defense though looks like it needs a lot of work

Its the first preseason game under a new coaching staff. Thats normal.

It used to be when 80% of the roster had only been playing for the Cardinals for 3 weeks.

The thing I'm concerned about is that these are veteran players who should be sharper and the mistakes the Cards made in preseason under Denny carried over into the regular season.

Like Kwamie said, well I think he said because he is hard to understand, the defense is Vanilla so they should be able to play hard and fast.

To a point I can go with that but some players also try too hard because they want to prove their worth to the new coaching staff. Its give and take.

They have 3 weeks to fix the mistakes and adjust the roster until it actually counts. You can only do so much with practices and game tape from the previous year.

He was burned once by a Raiders WR. The other play he was burned by the refs.

He had great coverage and made minimal contact and the ball was overthrown ten yards and to the outside. The WR was slanting in

You're right,I'm completely wrong... Rolle looked awesome. I'm glad he's out number one CB, looking forward to him as our shut-down corner. Thanx for setting me straight

No need to act like an ass. Just give him credit when he does good and blame when HE actually gets burned.

The first pass that he missed the tackle on was ALL on him. If you see too much fault with him on the second pass, you're giving him way too much blame.
