Ronnie Mac gives me some grief

As I am not the writer Jo is, I won't attempt to write an article for "Ask the Team" but I do have a small story.

First off, Ronnie is a cool dude folks, unfortunatly cool is not a word normally used to describe me, ever.

You've asked if they know who we are well it's clear that RM does but I'll get to that in a bit after I give you the background.

Given my limited (but imptroving) knowledge of the details of football, I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the fundementals of a position, specificy OL and DL. One reason for doing this is that many have asked why the Cards

a) Still have problems on the Oline
b) Don't develop DL talent

I figure if I learn more, then when I get a chance to ask some questions, they will be better and more likely to get a good answer.

To this end, while I have been down there I have been watching the footwork of our OL/DL guys and what if anything the coaches are saying about it. Apparently I have been not only watching but also going over it myself, I guess I've benn doing that to see if I understand what I was seeing. I hadn't even noticed myself doing it.

Well, I was watching practice today and Ron starts asking me about my footwork. Well for a moment or two, he could have been speaking japanese for all I knew. You have to understand that when we first went there, we were told very pointedly not to talk to players during a practice, so this caught me off guard (I'd rather err on the side of looking like a dork rather than screw this gig up).

Turns out Ron (and some of the other LBs) have apparently noticed me thinking about the DL footwork (although I'm sure I looked ridiculous doing it), so he decided to give me some grief. The he decided that the other LBs with him should join in.

Ron, if you are reading this, I'll try to be cooler next time but I'm not good at it. ;)

I tend to ignore mine.

In response to your Boxster, is it mandatory for all British people to drive badass cars? It's that darned James Bond influence.

Hey Ronnie, next time you see Nidan (Ian) at practice...

He called you a big sissy and said you sleep with a security blanket.

:D

By the way, I voted RM for Pro Bowl MLB.

I don't think so - this is a family bulletin board.

As Jo was back in town, we went down there today as well.

It was a zoo, press everywhere including Romo but I'll leave that for Jo.

After practice I grapped Ronnie Mac to explain, at least not I don't feel like quite such a dork.

Have I taught you nothing? NEVER admit a mistake. It's simply new slang Nidan (thus making you hip) not a typo, slang. I can see I still have a lot of work to do with you.
