Cardinals Promote LBs Tanner Vallejo, Kylie Fitts, Sign DL Caraun Reid
Linebacker Tanner Vallejo was making a push for a roster spot in the preseason but was ultimately released.

Now Vallejo, whom the Cardinals originally claimed off waivers last offseason, gets his chance to be on the 53-man roster, after the team promoted him from the practice squad Wednesday among a handful of roster moves.

The Cardinals also elevated outside linebacker Kylie Fitts from the practice squad and signed veteran defensive lineman Caraun Reid.

The Cardinals waived LB Pete Robertson on Tuesday, according to the league’s transaction report. He played for Kliff Kingsbury at Texas Tech and was promoted to the active roster on Nov. 8.

Lots of moves by the Cardinals:
They elevated LBs Kylie Fitts and Tanner Vallejo to the 53 from the PS, signed DL Caraun Reid and released LB Pete Robertson, as I reported.

Arizona also signed QB Drew Anderson, WR Saeed Blacknall, and DL Lyndon Johnson to PS, as I reported

IIRC Fitts was a pass rushing LB in college.Worth a shot.Vallejo does have some experience..why not try them both.
