The Cardinals have plenty of free-agent visits lined up, and they include quarterback Drew Stanton, running backs Reggie Bush and Rashard Mendenhall, safety LaRon Landry, linebacker Rey Maualuga, and cornerback Jerraud Powers. Bush is unlikely to make it to the desert. The Lions are putting the full-court press on him. Mendenhall is more realistic. Maualuga and Daryl Washington would make a nice inside linebacker duo. … Arizona is one of free agent returner Josh Cribbs’ two choices, and free agent linebacker Lorenzo Alexander is rumored to be signing with the Cardinals.

I think Landry is overrated. We would be his 3rd team in 3 years for an under 30 player. That is a red flag for me.

Listening to MadDog Radio this morning. Bush is currently visiting in Detroit. They think that it is the best fit for Bush. If I had my choice of places to live, Detroit would be last or not even on the list. That is the hell hole city of America today. One has to wonder how long that city can hold out before going bankrupt? Even worse the Federal Government bails them out. Give me an offer of $6 mil in Detroit and $3 mil in AZ and I go to AZ even as bad as we appear. On my trips to Detroit over the years I thought I was in a Gulag with all the barbed wire. Of course my bags I checked on the airlines had been broken into so I learned quickly to never put anything in my suitcase or to carry everything with me on board the aircraft. Sorry to all you folks who live there. You may like it. I got the same feeling there walking in the streets I got walking in Saigon. My head was on a swivel. How that city can support the Lions, Red Wings, and Pistons I will never understand. They have lost about 40% of there population in the past decade. Just going into the bars I got the impression that the Red Wings was the major sport in that city. Nearly ever bar had pictures of the Wings players and none for the other sports.

Where are we going to get the money to sign any heavy weight players? There are certainly some better than what we got (but are under contract). Seems like the real good teams in the NFL have good CAP space and teams like ours have little. How does that happen? Does anyone know what the Leinart signing ultimately cost the Cards after all was said and done.
Matt would make a great guy to star in one of the daily soap operas with his all American good looks and charm. Surely he must have millions of dollars in his bank.

If they sign Stanton they are going to cut Kolb and that will free up millions. Per Jurecki.
