Robinson Cano’s career is basically over. The Mariners star will get a chance to play again when he returns from his 80-game PED-related suspension, and he likely will continue to be regarded as one of the best second basemen in the game. But the Cano who looked like a good bet for the Hall of Fame threw away his reputation with the decision to use a banned diuretic often used to mask performance-enhancing drugs.
